How to configure IPTV on a MAG Box

MAG Boxes are popular devices for IPTV streaming, offering a user-friendly interface and reliable performance. Here’s a handy guide to setting up IPTV on a MAG Box.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following items :

1. A MAG Box (e.g., MAG 424 w3, MAG 524 w3, etc.).
2. A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
3. A remote control for your MAG Box.
4. A television or display compatible with an HDMI port.
5. An IPTV portal URL provided by VooIPTV.

Step 1: Connect and turn on the MAG Box

1. Connect the cables :
   • Connect the MAG Box HDMI cable to your TV.
   • Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet and connect it to the MAG Box.
   • (Optional) Connect an Ethernet cable to the MAG Box for a wired Internet connection.
2. Turn on the device :
   • Press the power button on the remote control or plug in the MAG Box directly to turn it on.
3. Configure language and resolution (if necessary) :
   • Select your preferred language.
   • Adjust the screen resolution to suit your TV (usually 1080p or 4K).

Step 2: Access Settings

1. On the MAG Box main screen, use the remote control to navigate to “Settings”.
2. Select “System Settings”.

Step 3: Configure the network

Option 1: Ethernet connection

• If you are using an Ethernet cable, the connection will be established automatically.

Option 2: Wi-Fi connection

1. Access to “Network” > “Wireless (Wi-Fi)”.
2. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
3. Enter the Wi-Fi password using the remote control.

Step 4: Add IPTV Portal URL

1. Go back to “System Settings”.
2. Select “Servers” > “Portals”.

4. Clic “OK” to save the settings.

Step 5: Restart the MAG Box

1. Return to the main menu.
2. Restart the MAG Box to apply the changes :
   • Option 1 : Unplug the power supply and plug it back in.
   • Option 2 : Use the restart option in the menu “Settings”.

Step 6: Access IPTV Channels

1. After reboot, the MAG Box will automatically connect to the configured IPTV portal.
2. Navigate through available channels, movies, and series using the remote control.

Troubleshooting

• No connection to the portal :
  • Check your internet connection.
  • Make sure the portal URL is correct.
• Videos not loading :
  • Try another device to test your internet connection.
  • Contact us to check the status of the service.
• MAG Box Update Problems :
  • Check the update options in “System Settings” > “Software Update”.
